| Guys Just a heads up on the Megan Racing downpipes.... I installed these on a customer car over the weekend, and came to a few conclusions. Upon opening the packaging, I noticed a "QC" sticker on the downpipe itself. We will *assum* the "QC" stands for quality control (these mass produced units.) I began installing them and when I got to the passenger side downpipe, I had to hold off. The downpipe would not actually fit. After a short examination I noticed that the wastegate separator was actually installed upside down. I broke out the tools to unscrew it, and to my surprise the allen head screws they use (countersunk into the separator) were not even tight. I realize that even if the screws were to completely loosen, they couldnt back out (since they butt up against the exhaust housing) however there are possibilities, and I'd have prefered to not take my chances. For peace of mind, I pulled the drivers side unit off and inspected the bolts and sure enough, they were snug but definately not tight. My suggestion would be to stick with a trusted (and 'original') vendor on these pipes......our cars will love us better for doing so!
